Hello,
My name is Bernard Kelly.
My mission, my hobby, and my job is to help you avoid reliance on the aged
pension.
I want to help you to make sure that you have enough financial resources for 15-25 years of dignified retirement.
Let me tell you why.
I’m a very young and active 61 year old. I've been happily married for 33 years, I have two adult children, and throughout my corporate career
I have always a keen but amateur investor.
One of my earliest success stories was being able to mentor my sister (when she was a young nurse aged 23) to acquire her first investment property.
Then in my early 50s, when I was working with charities and nonprofits, the chief executives of my clients began to retire.
And I used to say to my wife “these guys are retiring into poverty. They have hardly any super, but their life expectancy was perhaps another 25 years. How are they going to survive? What sort of pension will there be in 15, 20 or 25 years time? What if there’s no pension?”
Over time, I came to realise that it’s the same for virtually everyone.
Since then my mission, my hobby, and my job has been “to help people avoid reliance on the aged pension”.
To achieve this goal I typically combine whatever super you already have with the proven and conservative approach of negatively geared, residential investment properties in family suburbs where there is a continuing demand by quality, long stay tenants.
